I just got a call from Cape Cod Art Association telling me that my painting, "The Final Turn" received an Honorable Mention Award at the Founders Exhibit. The exhibit opens with a reception from 4-6 pm this Friday and runs through August 10th.

Living on Cape Cod, I'm surrounded by beauty and magnificant light, unlike anywhere else. Maybe it's because our little peninsula is surrounded by water, so that everywhere you look, the light is reflected. Sunsets over the bay , fog rolling into Chatham, a marsh in the twilight....so much to paint!
